It pains me to announce this, but due to financial constraints and other unforseen circuimstances, Rhino Radio is now off the air. I want to thank everyone for listening to this station and hope it gave some of you as much pleasure listening as it did for me to present it.  Hopefully we will return in the near future...

From 10 to 12 every night, we run a block that we like to call "The Prog Zone." It is a mixture of some of the best Progressive Metal and Hard Rock from the last fifty years. This is also when we play our twenty minutes opuses and longer tracks. You can hear artists such as Threshold, Symphony X, Dream Theater, Spiritbox, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Gojira, Queensryche, Anubis Gate, and many more! But don't take our word for it. Yes, Rhino Radio is now commercial free, and will play more music!

Well, it's been a good couple of weeks since Rhino Radio has come back on the air.  It's had some birthing pains as a straight startup is never easy.  But nothing worthwhile is ever easy to achieve.  We've added some infrastructure that has improved the sound of Rhino Radio dramatically, and we'll be continuing to add to the foundation of this station.  

Since there is only two of us working on this station, we can't spin the mp3s 24x7, so we have added NextKast Automation Software to handle the times we can't be on the air personally.  It has handled the job magnificently and will be our station software going forward.  In the future, we'll get some live shows going periodically so the station isn't fully automated. 

If you're listening, I hope you're enjoying the music and what we're doing here and hope you stay with us for many years to come.  We're going to bring the heaviest music that has ever been released over the last 60 years!  Break out the devil horns and get ready to bang your head!!
